Landskrona Port collaborates with Oceanbird – sail shipment on June 14
Landskrona Port has entered into a collaboration with Oceanbird regarding the handling and shipment of their innovative rigid wing sail technology.

A key milestone tooked place on June 14, 2026, when one of Oceanbird’s Wing 560 was shipped via Simidakajen in Landskrona Port.

The wing sail has been transported to the port area the morning of June 12th, and the vessel carrying the wing, sailed on the evening of june 14.

The project represents an important step in the development of more sustainable maritime transport, where Oceanbird’s technology contributes to reducing emissions in global shipping.
