Landskrona Hamn AB works with sustainability in focus, both in terms of the environment and the work environment. In our role as a significant port facility, we have an important task to perform when it comes to environmental work, not least by offering logistics solutions that help redirect transport to the sea. Ships have the capacity for large volumes of goods, which means low emissions per transported item. Shipping plays a central role in Sweden’s trade and prosperity, and accounts for almost 70 percent of Sweden’s foreign trade. Shipping is also of great importance for domestic transport. Landskrona Hamn AB conducts systematic sustainability work and is quality and environmentally certified according to ISO 9001 and 14001. We work actively to reduce all forms of spillage into stormwater and into the port basin. In order to find new solutions for, among other things, handling environmentally hazardous waste, we collaborate with research institutes. We also believe that a good and sustainable work environment that benefits employees allows us to conduct our business even better and more efficiently.
